Thanks for a great organized ride.
It was great to have the marshalls help some of us back to the group after the hills.
It was hilly in some sections but that represents some obstacles that some of the kids have to conquer.
I will have more friends join the ride next year.
It was a good idea to break the groups into different categories.
I road in the 30km group for part of the ride but than joined a group after lunch that was not quite up to mthe pace. One person got a flat and every one stopped, which was really good.
This is a fun ride for a good cause.
I will be back next year.
Even though it meant getting up with the chickens, the London boys and myself, were once again very excited to be part of a great day to help the kids. Now being my fouth year, I'm always refreshed by how challenging the route truly is. Hats off to the idea of breaking up the riders according to speed though. That made a big difference. You know this event has taken road riding to the next level. Now my goal for next year is not only to raise more money but bring even more people from London to participate. Thanks eveyone, job well done and see you next year!
I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was after participating in yesterday's Ride for Karen. There is no question that yesterday was the best organized and enjoyable charity event I have ever attended. It is wonderful to see such a committed group of individuals working together for an important cause.
I have since emailed many of my friends encouraging them to register for next year's ride.
Of course, having involved and enthusastic corporate partners (like Jeffrey Zacks) is a huge bonus.
Hats off to you guys!!
Sincerely,
Murray Asch

The Ride for Karen started as a physical challenge for me but turned into much more.
* It feels great to have been a small part of an amazing effort that will result in 300 kids with cancer going to summer camp next year.
* I am now a converted Roadie - I had a great time riding with the the 25 km/h group this year - next year we'll "Kick It Up A Notch."
* I met new people to ride with so I won't have to battle the wind by myself every Sunday morning.
* One of the guys in our group taught us how to draft and share the lead so we were all able to ride faster and stronger.
The Tobias family, their friends, the volunteers and sponsors all did a great job. I can't imagine a better cycling event.
Thanks for a new passion,
Mike
